Silk Laminated Business Cards

Artwork Instructions (If you will submit your own design):

✓ Silk Business Cards without Spot UV files to submit: 1 or 2 (it depends on if you need to print one or two sides)

✓ Silk Business Cards with Spot UV: When creating a Spot UV job, you must include a Spot UV template file along with the regular print file. The Spot UV template file is used to show where the UV coating needs to be applied and it must match 100% with the artwork.


Please use only C=60 M=40 Y=40 K=100 rich black color to indicate where you would like the UV. Do not use shadows, glows or grayscale images. White will indicate no UV. If you don't use C=60 M=40 Y=40 K=100 rich black color we can't print spot UV on your cards.

Files to submit: 2 by side w/UV CMYK Print File + Spot UV File. Remove all crop marks/bleed otherwise they will be printed.


For better quality we recommend creating mask files in vector based programs such as Illustrator.

✓ How should I set up my bleed? Bleed must extend past the cut-line and will be trimmed from the product during the final cutting phase. When the image is required to extend all the way to the edge, bleed is needed to preserve the finished look and the quality of the final product.

The bleed must be 0.0625" all sides (top, bottom, left, right). Please keep all text at least 0.50" from edge. So, your final artwork size plus bleed must be 3.625" x 2.125".
