Frequently Asked Questions

Q: 1. How long will it take for me to receive my hang tags?
A: You live in Florida, you will receive your order in approximately twelve or thirteen business days. Our production department is closed on weekends. We are shipping in Florida only.

Q: 3. Do I have to pay shipping for my hang tags?
A: You don't have to pay shipping.

Q: 4. How thick are hang tags?
A: 16pt thick (equal to .018 of an inch). Each point (pt) is equal to .001 of an inch, to give you a frame of reference.

Q: 5. I have an idea of the design, can you create the artwork for me?
A: If you have an idea for your design, but do not have a digital file prepared by a graphic designer ready to print, you will need to create the artwork. We offer design services, please contact us for a quote.

Q: 6. Brown Kraft has the option to add white ink as an overprint. The white will be a base for the CMYK providing a bright white surface which will allow for vibrant, crisp color. Areas without white ink will appear darker due to the color of the stock.

Similar to Spot UV masks, White Mask files are separate from your artwork files. Black in the White Mask file indicates where white ink will be printed.

Make sure to create your mask file the same size as your artwork file. This will prevent alignment issues during printing.

Note: White Masks must be made in vector format and be saved as EPS or PDF. Please be aware that anything less than 100%K (C=60 M=40 Y=40 K=100 rich black color) will be transparent and allow the brown stock to show through.

Use vector paths/shapes to create black color areas that will indicate where the white ink base will go. The rest of the areas will show the Brown Kraft stock.

Remember the following when creating a white mask for your white ink base:

✓ White ink base will be printed behind any color that’s in your Artwork Layer.
✓ Areas with color but without a White Mask will be printed with color directly on the material.
✓ Areas with color and a White Mask will be printed as opaque or solid color.
✓ Areas with a White Mask and no color will be printed as white.




Templates: Our template is used as a guide or reference to show general placement of logos/graphic elements, however, when submitting the artwork, you must submit it without the guidelines, otherwise they would be printed. See image below for example. To get template click on the following link:
